GoDaddy: превышение лимита на количество файлов // HardSoftWeb // 11.05.2013

Пришло уведомление от GoDaddy, что я превысил допустимое количество файлов на аккаунте в четыре раза:

1. Excessive inode count. Your account has exceeded the maximum inode (or total site files, folders combined) allowance of 500,000, with 2,000,346.

И в дополнение к этому, в некоторых папках находится больше 1024 файлов:

2. Improper directory configuration. More specifically, the following directories exceed the maximum 1,024 file/folder per directory count

Это преимущественно папки кэша (связано с большим количеством страниц на сайтах этого аккаунта) и отчасти папки загруженных файлов (там небольшое превышение, преимущественно от сохраненных бэкапов загруженных файлов). В папках кэша есть и огромные: кэш запросов к базе данных на этом сайте, оказывается, уже дополз до более миллиона файлов

Пошел отключать и удалять :), тем более что сейчас мне этот кэш запросов к БД не очень нужен. Иначе угрожают отключить все 15 мая:

We understand that these situations are most likely not intentional. However, we must respectfully request that you reduce your site wide inode count to less than 500,000 and reduce your per-directory file/folder count to less than 1,024. We simply cannot allow our hosting network and other hosting customers to be negatively impacted.

Due to the serious nature of this situation, your hosting account will be suspended if you do not resolve this issue by May 15, 2013. Please note that if the hosting account is suspended, any websites you host on this plan will be disabled.
